Farmers Market Sustainability
When you support Orange County HomeGrown Farmers Markets, you champion healthy, locally produced food; nurture local small farms; foster independent artisans; and preserve the success of the most beloved destination in Orange County.
Orange County HomeGrown Farmers Markets have an operating budget of $40,000 per year which supports an array of operating expenses that include insurance, full-time market manager, part-time event/volunteer/EBT coordinator salaries, signage, marketing, promotions, and more.
We especially rely upon generous financial donations, vendor fees, Buck-a-Book sales, business sponsorships, and grants. Running farmers markets of this caliber also requires considerable time, energy plus an army of hard-working devoted volunteers.
Supporting Orange County HomeGrown Farmers Markets ensures great weekly markets well into the future.
Orange County HomeGrown Farmers Markets provide access to local food choices, generate a sense of local pride while furthering the economic development of our community and serve as a community gathering place.
We welcome any level of support with great appreciation. Donate today to HomeGrown Farmers Markets at a level of support that works for you through a contribution to Orange County HomeGrown, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization since 2004.
